About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Sheridan Maine. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Finance for our UK business, including leadership of the Finance and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reports to local management, group, shareholders, and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, corporate, and other financial plans.
  • Business Partnering: Offer cross-functional support and financial expertise to support decision-making.
  • Financial Controls and Integrity: Ensure the integrity of our financial systems and processes.
  • Company Secretarial duties: Manage company secretarial responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Leadership experience within a manufacturing setting
  • Exposure to both SME and larger, corporate environments
  • Confident and credible to operate and influence at an executive level
  • Sound technical acumen
  • Commercial thinker, able to switch from the detail to the 'big picture'
