**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Mould Machinist and Toolmaker to join our team at Recra Consulting.

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to set up and operate CNC machines, as well as manual milling, drilling, sawing, lathe turning, and grinding machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an engineering machine shop environment and be proficient in different machining processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Machining moulds using various machines within the Toolroom workshop
  • Constructing, maintaining, and repairing Plastic Injection Mould Tools
  • Setting up and operating CNC machines, specifically Hurco equipment, and Rhino CAD software to produce mould bolster plates
  • Utilizing a variety of machines and processes, including radial drilling, turning, grinding, fitting, polishing, lifting, and tool building
  • Conducting quality checks on machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working in an engineering machine shop environment
  • Ability to read measuring tools, micrometers, and calipers to ensure precision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy

**Benefits:**

  • A competitive salary of $65,000 per year
  • Overtime required during busy periods, with a minimum of 5 hours of overtime per week
  • Saturday mornings may be required, with 4 hours of work from 7 AM - 11 AM
