Job Title: Technical Reviewer

Location: Homebased (UK)

Package: Competitive salary + excellent benefits

Role Purpose:

To perform technical reviews and certification decisions of BRCGS Scheme related certifications in compliance with Scheme owner, Accreditation, BV CER MS and BRCGS standard's requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate audit reports using appropriate checklists.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement in audit reports.
  • Provide feedback to Auditors and Certification Decision Makers.
  • Make certification decisions for products for which they are authorized.
  • Review Auditor's competence and Certification applications according to defined criteria.
  • Collaborate with other Technical Reviewers to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of review activities and recommendations.

About You:

  • Experience working in the food industry.
  • Third-party auditor qualification.
  • Experience of third-party GFSI auditing.
  • Relevant experience of ISO 17021 and 17065 implementation or auditing.
  • Able to work as a team.

Qualifications Required:

  • Degree in food-related or bio-science discipline.
  • Third-party GFSI scheme BRCGS & FSSC training at auditor level.
  • Training - Accreditation Requirements (ISO 17065).
  • HACCP training – minimum of 2 days.
