About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Craigmillar Early Years Centre on a fixed-term basis until 19/12. As a key member of our Children, Education and Justice Services division, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and care to young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that promote child development and well-being
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to meet regulatory requirements
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 (pro rata for term time) and 36 hours per week over 39 weeks. Our benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a comprehensive pension scheme.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant qualification in early years education or a related field
  • Experience working with children and families in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
