Cover Teacher

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to assist with cover teaching arrangements across all subject areas for KS3, KS4, and KS5 in Secondary Schools across Buckinghamshire.
The successful candidate will be expected to oversee pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, quickly build rapport with students, and have good behaviour management skills. They will not be required to deliver the lesson itself but must ensure the pupils are on task and complete the work set by the teacher.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a degree or have previous experience as a cover teacher/cover supervisor. You will also need to have a valid and up-to-date DBS or be on the update service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
• Build rapport with students and have good behaviour management skills
• Ensure pupils are on task and complete the work set by the teacher
Requirements:
• Degree or previous experience as a cover teacher/cover supervisor
• Valid and up-to-date DBS or on the update service
