About the Role

As a Senior Radar Systems Engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to lead the radar signature measurement trials at our Funtingdon site. Your role will be to support the team in leading the trials to improve platform protection against radar threats through signature management and the use of radar countermeasures as part of the T3E contract that QinetiQ holds with the MOD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy as a member of the trial delivery team and support in team leadership
  • Support in all aspects of trial planning from safety, security, logistics, and technical
  • Provide technical expertise input to investment and customer projects
  • Participate in the effective and efficient operation of the RCS facility, proactively working to implement process improvements when identified
  • Comply with all Health and Safety and Environmental requirements at the trials site by working in accordance with the Trials Risk Assessment, the Site Health, Safety, and Environmental Plan, and the Site Security Plan

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Full Driving License
