About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Community Employment Advisor to join our team in Blackpool, Lancashire.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering specific funded projects aimed at enhancing life skills and employability among community members.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Delivering Project Outcomes: Work closely with community members to deliver project outcomes focused on enhancing life skills and employability.
  2. Building Partnerships: Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, Job Centre Plus and other relevant stakeholders to promote employability services.
  3. Designing Effective Strategies: Design and implement effective strategies to help clients overcome barriers to employment and achieve successful transitions.
  4. Engaging Clients: Engage with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored plans to support their employability goals.
  5. Publicising Our Services: Publicise our employability services to local businesses and communities, highlighting the benefits of our programmes.
  6. Collaborating with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Communications Team, to ensure consistent messaging and promotion of employability services.
  7. Identifying New Opportunities: Identify and explore new opportunities for employment or training, leveraging local, regional and national initiatives.
  8. Training Delivery: Deliver high-quality training sessions to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their employability.
