Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at ACS Performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the business in minimizing and managing risks, ensuring compliance adherence, and improving operations for our employees, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Documentation Management: Review and manage documentation, including COSHH, Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, and Toolbox Talks.
  • Performance Indicators: Set and achieve key performance indicators, alongside regular reporting to senior site managers/teams and directors, including analysis of incident and near miss data, identifying root causes and preventative actions.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: Liaise with other department managers to ensure compliance, health and safety, and best practices.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Regularly audit site processes and procedures to ensure adherence across the business.
  • Health and Safety Meetings: Organize quarterly health and safety meetings with team members to communicate and resolve issues within the business.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance within relevant departments, including Transport, Operations, Engineering, and Commercial.
  • Risk Assessments: Carry out gap analysis and implement, review, and revise risk assessments as required.
  • Training and Development: Complete a review and standardization process in relation to SOPs, and carry out relevant training on procedures/risk assessments or associated topics in-house.
  • Legislative Updates: Effectively communicate and implement new legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • ISO 45001 Implementation: Contribute to ISO 45001 implementation and lead assigned tasks associated with this project.
