Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Academic Lecturer in Financial Management and Quantitative Finance to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assessing students across a range of finance modules within our programmes from Level 4 – Level 7.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and assessing students in finance modules, including Financial Management, Financial Analysis, Investments Analysis, and Quantitative Finance
  • Developing and delivering innovative teaching materials and assessments
  • Providing academic support and guidance to students
  • Participating in curriculum development and review
  • Engaging in research and scholarship in the field of finance

Requirements

  • Masters degree in a relevant field, plus experience in teaching and assessing in the Higher Education sector
  • Proven industry background and experience in one or more areas suitable to the areas of Financial Management, Financial Analysis, Investments Analysis, and Quantitative Finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent collaborative skills
  • Strong Interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver in a demanding academic environment
