About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO consultant to join our innovative Shared Services IT team. As a senior consultant, you will contribute to all aspects of the project lifecycle, sometimes as the lead consultant. You will liaise with business stakeholders to design and deliver solutions to meet business requirements and produce technical specifications.

As an expert in your field, you will implement configuration changes and coordinate resources across technical teams, ensuring solutions are delivered in line with governance processes and to agreed timescales and quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as we embark on our S/4 HANA transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver solutions to meet business requirements
  • Implement configuration changes and coordinate resources across technical teams
  • Contribute to all aspects of the project lifecycle, sometimes as the lead consultant
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to produce technical specifications
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP FICO consultant with a sound knowledge of statutory accounting principles and industry good practice. You will have demonstrable configuration skills in the SAP FICO modules and be able to contribute to all aspects of the project lifecycle.

What We Offer:

We support an effective work-life balance and are open to discussing flexible work requests. We welcome both full and part-time applications for this role, with a minimum requirement for the role of 22.2 hours worked over 4 days. This role will be based at our Winchester offices, however, as part of Hampshire County Council's Open Workplace Policy, the successful candidate can undertake the majority of their work at home.
