Verification Architect

This position presents a unique opportunity for an experienced verification engineer to work on the development of advanced hardware ISP IP solutions.
The Arm Systems ISP team employs state-of-the-art hardware design and verification methodologies. Key responsibilities include designing new hardware verification testbenches for future generation hardware IP, improving existing testbenches, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
Main Tasks:- Evaluating proposed design modifications from a verification complexity perspective
- Developing verification IP and comprehensive verification environments
- Creating new verification flows and refining existing ones
- Analyzing simulation run data using machine learning and data science techniques to enhance bug discovery and debug efficiency
- Establishing methodology and overseeing its implementation within the group, with full ownership of verification closure and guidance of other team members
- Collaborating closely with other Arm engineering teams to deliver high-quality IP that seamlessly integrates into complete systems
- Proven experience in constrained-random verification, including ownership of a complex verification environment and creation of testbenches
- Expertise in developing scalable code, with thorough knowledge of SV-UVM
- Strong scripting skills – capable of creating scripts to support new and existing workflows
- Sound software engineering skills, including understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Familiarity with tools and processes for developing testbenches and completing all aspects of the verification process
- Leadership and mentorship experience within a team
- Microarchitecture experience with multiprocessing capabilities, including bus protocol knowledge (e.g., AMBA APB/AHB/AXI)
- Prior experience in Formal Verification testbenches
- Background in media, video, ISP, or display projects
