Executive Director for Jewish Community

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our dynamic Jewish community in London, Ontario. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, community building, and fundraising.
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with a Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to enhance the community's vision and goals. They will also be responsible for overseeing operations, providing financial oversight, and ensuring the availability of funds for community programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet the current and future needs of the London Jewish community.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, community leaders, and members to identify opportunities for innovative programming and collaboration.
- Work with the community-at-large to ensure a voice in important civic matters, including representing the Jewish community at local events and programs.
- Drive key education initiatives for both the Jewish community and local school boards, including Holocaust Education programming and PJ Library.
- Liaise with national liaisons to exchange best practices and network with the broader London community.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a senior leadership/management role, preferably in a community organization.
- A track record of developing and implementing programs that educate, involve, and inspire.
- An appreciation of and commitment to Israel and Jewish values.
- Government and University relations experience, including working with key leaders on major issues such as antisemitism, Jewish and Holocaust education, infrastructure support, security, and safety.
- Strong strategic planning skills and ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors.
Salary and Benefits:
$90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
