SENDCo Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented SENDCo to join our thriving school community for a one-year maternity cover. As our SENDCo, you will lead and manage provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities across KS3 and KS4, ensuring they receive the best possible support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate provision for students with SEND needs

Work closely with staff, external agencies, and families to ensure all students receive the support they need

Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes

Requirements:

Experience working with students with SEND needs

Strong understanding of SEND legislation, including the EHCP process and the SEND Code of Practice

Excellent communication and leadership skills
