We are seeking a dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Alemoor Crescent, a friendly residential service for six adults with various disabilities. Located in the Restalrig area of Edinburgh, we offer a unique opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

The ideal candidate will possess experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker, although this is not essential. We provide an excellent training and induction programme to support your career development.

As a Care Professional with Leonard Cheshire, you will become part of a fantastic team that values individuality and promotes independence. Your duties may include:

  • Assisting with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escorting and assisting individuals in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • SUPPORTING OUR PERSON-CENTRED APPROACH BY ENCOURAGING MAXIMUM INDEPENDENCE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS AND HELPING THEM ACHIEVE INDIVIDUAL ASPIRATIONS.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £18,000 - £21,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also benefit from a supportive working environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the satisfaction of making a positive impact in the lives of others.
