Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at iO Associates - UK/EU. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing designs produced by design houses and ensuring they meet technical requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects in the marine industry. You will have the chance to lead a small team and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage designs produced by design houses and ensure they meet technical requirements.
  • Lead a small team of engineers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex electrical engineering problems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Principal engineer with a background in safety-critical systems (Nuclear/Defence preferred).
  • Sole UK national due to the nature of the work.
  • Building services background (HVAC, Fire detection, alarm systems or industrial lighting).

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £60-70 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced electrical engineers. The role is hybrid, with 6 months initially and potential for extension. As a Sole UK national, you will not only be eligible for this project but also have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects.
