About the Role
William James Recruitment is seeking an experienced Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyer to join a multinational UK-based law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling high-profile and complex company failures and administrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist quality legal advice to commercial clients and private individuals on restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Work alongside existing partners to drive a resilient and varied legal practice.
- Handle contentious and non-contentious matters, including debt restructuring, Section 110 demergers, security reviews, and advice to directors on their duties.
- Manage a varied caseload and work to deadlines/targets.
- Work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Requirements
- Solicitor with 6+ years post-qualification experience specifically working within a Restructuring and Insolvency team.
- Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail.
- Professional and effective communication with individual and business contacts.
