Gatehouse Operative

We are seeking a skilled Gatehouse Operative to join our team at Logistics People in Lutterworth, CML. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for effectively managing vehicles from receipt to despatch, ensuring a secure and efficient flow of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately receive and despatch loads in a timely manner, adhering to operational processes and procedures.
- Interact with drivers at both inbound and outbound gates, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing.
- Liaise with Operations Controllers to prepare the warehouse and allocate bays for vehicles.
- Verify and seal vehicles upon exit, ensuring correct paperwork for loads.
- Complete inbound and outbound paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Utilize the inbound schedule to book deliveries into allocated slots.
- Monitor CCTV to maintain site security and assist with security checks/searches as needed.
