Job Opportunity

Cpl UK Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our team. As a Consultant in Perinatal Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with distressed and traumatized female patients and their families, utilizing a clear and evidence-based approach to risk assessment and management.
  • Develop and implement creative and collaborative interventions and care plans, incorporating knowledge of best practice and evidence relating to perinatal psychiatry.
  • Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in perinatal psychiatry, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Requirements
  • Passion and skill in engaging with distressed and traumatized female patients and their families.
  • Clear, evidence-based approach to risk assessment and management.
  • Creative and collaborative approach to planning and delivering interventions and care plans.
  • Knowledge of best practice and evidence relating to perinatal psychiatry.
  • Good working knowledge of attachment, infant mental health, and infant development.
  • Understanding of pregnancy, antenatal and postnatal physical health considerations.
