Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver tobacco addiction interventions, including nicotine replacement therapies and pharmacotherapy options, under the guidance of PGDs.
- Provide training and intervention across various settings to targeted groups, promoting effective partnership working and risk management.
- Conduct assessments, plan, and record client data and information to ensure the service operates within contractual and administrative requirements.
- Build therapeutic alliances with individuals requiring tobacco addiction interventions, ensuring a compassionate and respectful approach.
- Contribute to project development, utilizing knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques and behavior change.
We are looking for a first-level registered nurse with recent relevant post-qualification experience and a current PIN. You should be a non-medical prescriber or willing to undertake training. A sound knowledge of working within PGDs and experience of contributing to project development are essential.
As a motivated and flexible individual, you will be able to assess and formulate treatment plans with service users, communicate effectively, and respond to the demands of the post.
