Job Overview

Lancashire Volunteer Partnership is seeking a Loneliness Intervention Officer to join our team. As a Loneliness Intervention Officer, you will work with service users and residents to provide support and companionship, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.

Key Duties
  • Work with service users and residents to identify their needs and develop a support plan.
  • Provide regular visits and activities to support service users and residents, including befriending and gardening.
Requirements
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults and provide emotional support.
  • Knowledge of dementia care and experience working with people with complex needs.
Training and Development
  • Safeguarding training provided through eLearning.
  • Opportunities for further training and development in areas such as dementia care and mental health.
Estimated Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum
