We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Social Care strategy and programme work at the National Children's Bureau (NCB). This exciting opportunity has been created in response to our growing portfolio of work in this area.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned expert in children and young people's social care, with a deep understanding of the systems and services that support good social care outcomes for children. They will possess excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills, as well as strong IT and writing abilities.

A key aspect of this role is the oversight of the Council for Disabled Children's stakeholder engagement and communication strategy, which requires experience in this field. The ideal candidate will also have a comprehensive understanding of participation of children and young people with SEND and delivering trauma informed training to foster carers.

This varied position involves leading programmes of work across children and young people's social care, including a national contract upskilling supported accommodation providers. The individual will need to have a clear vision for supporting the workforce and therefore children and young people.

Located in London Fields, this full-time position offers a competitive salary of £70,417, plus 30 days holiday plus bank holidays and an additional 3 days leave for Christmas.
