IT Architect Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Architect to join our client in the defence sector. The successful candidate will work on a 6-month contract, onsite in Farnborough.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business strategy into defined architectural solutions.
• Provide input into the strategic direction of technology investments.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to design integrated solutions.
• Recommend technology options suited for the business capability.
• Design the PLM solution to integrate with other tools, such as SAP.
• Ensure designs meet accreditation and security requirements.
• Plan, design, and integrate IT system components.
• Identify suitable subcontractors for IT projects and oversee their delivery.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure project delivery is on time, cost, and quality.

Requirements:

• Degree level qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Experience within an IT architecture role.
• Experience with process and assembly manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing/Supply Chain processes.
• TOGAF or equivalent qualification (Desirable).
• Network Technologies such as CISCO, Juniper, Vocality (Desirable).
• MS Server and Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) (Desirable).
• Project management experience (Desirable).
