Job Summary

Xpress Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join a prestigious hotel in the central belt. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the culinary operations and driving the hotel's food offering to new heights.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you will oversee the kitchen team, working closely with the General Manager to develop and implement menus that showcase the hotel's commitment to quality and excellence. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Developing and implementing menus that meet the hotel's brand standards
  • Managing kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff management
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Collaborating with the General Manager to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a hotel or high-end restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for using high-quality ingredients and creative menu development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the General Manager and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
