Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Programme Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of the SCS Railways project delivery team, you will be responsible for developing and managing construction programmes and forecasts for assigned projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve assessing actual programme and productivity achieved, reviewing weekly progress reports, and taking action where necessary.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that inspection and test plans, risk assessments, and method statements for the control of the works are implemented and adhered to. Additionally, you will need to familiarize yourself with and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering. You will be capable of working independently and proactively to progress works, as well as skilled at working collaboratively with other integrated team members and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review contractual agreements and develop detailed site-specific programmes and forecast budgets.
  • Assess actual programme and productivity achieved and review weekly, taking action where appropriate, and reporting any changes to Asset Lead and QS department.
  • Ensure that inspection and test plans, risk assessments, and method statements for the control of the works are being implemented and adhered to.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on the HS2 project, a major infrastructure development in the UK. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
