Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineering Supervisor to lead our Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) team for our hydrogen compression modules. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for achieving our production targets and meeting project schedules while developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidiscipline team of two: a PLC engineer and mechanical technician, in the FAT of our hydrogen compression modules.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production targets and meet project schedules.
  • Manage a team, leading and motivating them to achieve project milestone targets in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Hold start of shift meetings with the wider operations team to outline the day's activities and report on issues.
  • Work with the QEHS manager to develop, maintain, and adhere to strict risk assessments for pressure testing.
  • Manage third-party contractors on the test site.
  • Provide progress reports to the Engineering director for project tracking.
  • Responsible for COPQ reporting to help achieve business KPIs.
  • Management, motivation, and development of staff.
Requirements
  • Degree or HND level in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
  • Proven history of people management experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a high-performance, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working in a project-styled business.
  • Operating within exacting time, quality, and cost constraints.
