We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Investigo.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the purchasing process, including sourcing products, negotiating prices, and managing order placement.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Source products meeting customer specifications and deliver the best combination of price, lead-time, and quality.
- Negotiate best prices, payment terms, and deals from suppliers.
- Assist with Quality Control and Logistics, including importing and customs.
- Manage customer tenders and collaborate with Sales & Marketing.
- Raise formal purchase orders and process associated admin.
- Ensure a full written documentation trail is available.
- Work with Demand Planning Manager and Operations Manager to meet delivery and stock targets.
- Research and introduce new suppliers on a regular basis.
Requirements:
- Tenacious with a strong determination to succeed.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of international shipping, duties, and delivery processes.
- Strong IT skills and confident with spreadsheets.
- A number of years' experience in product buying.
This role is based in the office 4 days per week, with Fridays working from home. The ideal candidate will be looking for career progression and be part of the senior management team.
