Job Opportunity: Senior Product Development Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Development Technologist to join our team at Harper Anderton Associates Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of new products, managing the NPD process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective NPD strategies to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Manage the NPD process from concept to launch, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Group Development Chef, Group Packaging Manager, and Procurement team to ensure seamless product development.
  • Project and Critical Path Management to ensure successful product launches.
  • Generate and manage costings throughout the NPD process.
  • Ensure accurate recording of information regarding final product sign off, processes, new ingredients, and packaging.
  • Continually assess current products to recommend and redevelop where necessary to ensure they reflect current market requirements.
  • Ensure that appropriate records are produced and retained, recording all product development activity.

Requirements:

  • Degree in food or relevant qualification.
  • Equivalent transferable experience within Food manufacturing.
  • Experience in Project management, critical path, and NPD Stage Gate management.
  • Excellent Time Management and organisation.
  • 3+ years experience in the food industry.
