About SQ Partners:

SQ Partners is a leading provider of contract personnel for the engineering and technology sectors.

We are currently seeking an experienced Stress Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis working outside IR35.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stress analysis and testing, with experience working on high-voltage switch boards.

Security Clearance is required for this role, so only British Nationals will be considered.

As a Stress Engineer with SQ Partners, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stress analysis and testing on high-voltage switch boards using SIMCENTER.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop electrical systems.
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement to optimize system performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in stress analysis and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage switch board design and operation.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance as a British National.
