Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Maintenance Manager to join our team at The Sherwin-Williams Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading maintenance activities, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our assets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our assets, including equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, plans, and procedures to optimize asset performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize maintenance projects, and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including operations teams, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize maintenance spend.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • ATEX/DSEAR knowledge/experience would be an advantage.
  • Awareness of SEVESO/COMAH.
  • Working knowledge of Management of relevant country Health and Safety legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and negotiating skills.
  • Proven track record in managing change within a diverse environment.
  • Articulate communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively build and manage relationships.
  • Enthusiasm and patience to develop others.
  • Values strong team work.
  • Numerically astute with the ability to analyze data and drive the appropriate action.
  • Professional and positive attitude with a high standard of work ethics.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Proficient at producing and presenting proposals, and able to demonstrate objective analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Hands-on approach and attitude.
