Information Security Manager UK

The Information Security Manager UK is a key role in our Energy Asset Management organisation, responsible for ensuring legal compliance and secure operation of our UK power generation and storage assets. This role will collaborate closely with plant and central management, ISO and site personnel to implement an effective information security management system (ISMS). The successful candidate will have a strong background in UK regulatory compliance (NIS/CAF), ISMS and OT Cyber Security.
The Information Security Manager UK will be responsible for managing and operating the Information Security Management System (ISMS) across the UK portfolio. This includes implementing the strategy for achieving regulatory compliance (CAF) in coordination with the Information Security Officer (ISO) and Information Security Representative (ISR). The role will also involve maintaining the project plan for CAF compliance, highlighting upcoming activities, current issues, future risks and solutions to various stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, delivering or maintaining operational technology equipment (OT) within critical national infrastructure (CNI). They will also have knowledge of the regulatory requirements in the field of critical infrastructure, such as NIS, CAF and OG086. Industry experience in applying security standards within CNI, such as IEC 62443 & ISO27001/2/19, is also essential.
The Information Security Manager UK will be responsible for creating and maintaining company-specific documentation for information security and ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and business instructions. They will also analyse and process information security improvements/incidents, and provide necessary support to the sites throughout the incident response process.
The role will involve acting as the first point of contact for OT security-related issues and challenges, as well as central coordinator for OT security. The successful candidate will provide technical consultancy on OT security topics, such as asset management, configuration management, network security, security architecture, for local sites. They will also deliver awareness sessions on cyber security topics, and provide coaching to employees.
The Information Security Manager UK will report on information security performance to various stakeholders, including plant management and central ISMS team. They will also be responsible for security certification, organising and defending the ISMS from internal and external audits.
