Civils Team Manager

We're looking for a seasoned Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to spearhead our Civils Team in Northern Ireland. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing cost management, budgeting, and financial planning throughout projects.
This permanent position comes with a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 per year, as well as a car allowance and flexible working arrangements across the UK and NI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating and executing cost management strategies to optimize project profitability.
- Leveraging expertise to mentor and guide a commercial team in achieving best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Fostering strong partnerships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities through bid management, contract negotiation, and market analysis.
- Managing subcontract tender processes, including estimating, selecting sub-contractors, and providing relevant contract and schedule documentation.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of experience in a senior role.
- Proven expertise in estimating, contractual issues, and final account negotiations.
- Technical knowledge of construction processes, particularly in Civil Engineering and Groundworks.
