Job Title: Facilities Services Administrator Assistant

At Manchester Arndale, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Services Administrator Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out a range of housekeeping and cleaning tasks in the hospital, including the cleaning of infected areas and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation, probing food for temperature, and completing due diligence paperwork.
  • Plate and dispense food and beverages on the ward to patients.
  • Replace and refill water jugs, and assist with the collection and washing up of cutlery, crockery, and trays.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and ready for the next shift.
  • Communicate effectively with all personnel, irrespective of grade, and communicate in fluent English.
  • Hold a Food Safety Level 2 qualification and FSA Allergen Training.
  • Have specialist knowledge within retail or catering, with a clear understanding and focus on Customer Service.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Be able to work under pressure and be flexible to ward demands.
