Audit and Compliance Professional

The Audit and Compliance Professional is responsible for performing quarterly audit engagements to help identify and manage risks to the business. This role involves working collaboratively and independently to conduct audits across various operational, financial, regulatory, and technology areas.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute aspects of the standard internal audit process, which includes planning, execution, and reporting.
2. Perform thorough inquiry and data analysis to understand business operations and assist in developing project scope.
3. Contribute to overall planning efforts for engagement timeline and approach.
4. Examine records, documents, methods, policies, costs, and other factors to determine if functional areas are conducting operations in accordance with established policies/procedures, best practices, United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and governmental and legal requirements.
5. Apply appropriate audit procedures to ensure that controls are tested and all significant risks are addressed.
6. Prepare clear and well-organized audit work papers documenting root-cause, work performed, investigation summaries, and recommendations.
7. Formulate conclusions based on testing results and clearly document findings.
8. Identify audit findings and consider corrective actions.
9. Identify opportunities for improvement to audit methodology, tools, and training.
10. Own the customer experience by thinking and acting in ways that put our customers first, provide seamless digital options at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-5 Years of Relative Work Experience
Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
