Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the HR department with various tasks, including recruitment, training, and employee welfare. Their duties will include managing payroll, maintaining employee records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including vetting candidates and issuing employment contracts
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries related to the HR department
  • Compiling and maintaining employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves
  • Processing payroll and assisting with employee compensation and benefits
  • Supporting HR-related training programs and workshops
  • Entering employee data into the computer database
  • Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
  • Writing and submitting reports on HR activities
  • Overseeing HR events and meetings

Requirements:

Essential Desirable Qualifications NVQ 3 in Administration or equivalent qualification or knowledge Knowledge of administrative processes and systems in a busy environment Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Knowledge of right to work principles Knowledge of TRAC Jobs and how they support recruitment Recruitment processes NHS Standards related to recruitment, i.e. pre employment checks Knowledge of equal opportunities legislation relating to recruitment Awareness of equality and diversity in relation to recruitment.

Experience Managing changing priorities in the working day Meeting tight deadlines Working in a busy office environment Use of TRAC Jobs End to end recruitment Processes Processing DBS checks.
