Job Summary:We are seeking an Apprentice Credit Controller to join our team at Perfect Hire Recruitment Ltd. As an Apprentice Credit Controller, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients' accounts payable teams, producing monthly spreadsheets for major accounts, and reconciling any discrepancies with the client.
Main Responsibilities:- Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients' accounts payable teams.
- Accounts Management: Produce monthly spreadsheets for major accounts and reconcile any discrepancies with the client.
- Statement Generation: Generate and forward monthly client statements as requested.
- Credit Management: Issue credit notes and process refunds when necessary.
- Debt Collection: Monitor client indebtedness, collaborating with clients, team leaders, and the Finance Manager to prevent defaults and resolve any payment issues.
- Reporting: Provide ad hoc reports on clients as needed.
- Financial Administration: Reconcile own ledger and prepare information for auditors as required.
- General Accounts: Perform general accounts duties, including data entry and cash allocation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective client liaison.
- Experience: Experience in an accounts role is desirable, but not essential.
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:£24,000.00 per year
Work Location:Hybrid working available
