Maths Teacher Job Description

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the UK. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
* Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
* Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement schemes of work.
* Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities and events.

**Ideal Candidate**

We are looking for an inspiring and committed Maths Teacher who has the following:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a passion for teaching the subject.
* Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
* A proactive approach to lesson planning and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
