Head of Compliance Job Description

Our client, a leading FCA advisory firm in Wolverhampton, is seeking a Head of Compliance to join their team. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for leading and shaping compliance policy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the compliance team of 16, implementing robust compliance measures and advising the senior management team on strategic compliance matters.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, conduct regulatory changes, and provide necessary guidance.
  • Oversee all compliance, manage KPI and MI reports, and act as a deputy for the Compliance Director.
  • Manage regulatory inquiries, educate employees on compliance requirements, foster a compliance culture, and update policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of consumer credit compliance and experience in developing and executing Compliance Monitoring Plans.
  • Familiarity with the FCA Handbook and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven track record of managing compliance professionals and delivering high-standard compliance reviews.
  • Relevant qualifications such as ICA certifications in Compliance and Governance or CeMap.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary between 50,000- 60,000.
