Job Description

As an Operating Department Practitioner - Advanced Role, you will work closely with all disciplines to ensure the promotion of high standards for all patients requiring peri-operative care. You will have experience in a variety of specialties within the operating department and will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care.

The post holder will deliver high-quality care and experiences for patients, which is always clinically effective and evidence-based. They will also be responsible for supervising junior/unqualified staff and demonstrating procedures.

Experience of a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the supervision/teaching of students, support staff, and others.
