Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

Vanta Staffing Limited is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our prestigious client based in the West Byfleet area. The client is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to work with the operations team to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement modern manufacturing methods (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) to reduce lead times and improve quality, on-time delivery, and cost to the customer.
  • Work with the operations team to identify and implement process improvements, reducing process scrap and rework through improved workflow techniques.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing process documentation (SOPs) and associated tooling required for product manufacture.

Requirements:

  • Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to analyze and improve them.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £40,000-£45,000

About the Role:

  • Work within company guidelines and contribute to their development, maximizing company efficiency while meeting customer requirements.
  • Implement, control, and manage ECRs, NPIVs, APs & PFRs, and design and control of process data, jigs & fixtures & packing specifications.
