Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for motivating and instructing students in nationally recognized standards, focusing on embroidery and quilting. You will provide high-quality service to your students, ensuring their growth and success.
Your role will involve planning lessons, devising schemes of work, and delivering comprehensive courses that cater to diverse student needs.
Self-motivation and responsibility are essential traits required for this position. You must stay updated with industry practices, seeking new and engaging subject areas to teach.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you should have experience teaching sewing and needlework. Dressmaking and patchwork & quilting expertise are desirable, and we may consider two separate positions for these areas.
You will possess excellent knowledge of embroidery and quilting techniques, enabling you to demonstrate and highlight different methods to students.
Proficiency in your field is crucial, as you will personally demonstrate techniques and help students create outstanding pieces.
Maintaining high standards of personal presentation and being proud to teach others are essential qualities for this role.
Estimated SalaryWe estimate the salary for this position to be around £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
