Advanced Electrical Engineering Expert

Senior and Principal Electrical Engineers are sought by a prominent manufacturing business based in the North of England to support their Submarines Programmes. This is a challenging opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success.
About the RoleThe successful candidates will engage in functional design, provide specialized advice, generate evidence to support legislative, safety, and technical requirements, collaborate with internal and external customers within a technical team, conduct peer reviews, and effectively articulate and present technical arguments in a clear, logical, and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating and executing engineering tasks or packages of work, providing guidance and advice in a consistent professional manner.
- Taking notice of appropriate budget, timescale, and quality standards as well as providing leadership where required.
As a Principal Engineer:
- Executing, evaluating, delivering, and managing complex engineering and/or cross-functional tasks or programmes of work recognising stakeholder and customer requirements.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for personal/team development to ensure that professional capability of the business and individual are maintained as well as improved.
A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification, along with experience in an Engineering background, is required. Proficiency in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system verification test design, or parts specification would be advantageous.
For Senior and Principal Engineers, demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle phases and technical specialities is essential. Working towards or having obtained relevant Professional Registration (CEng) is also necessary.
