About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Football Community Development Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position based in London, with some flexibility to work from home.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Premier League and PFA Core Fund, working closely with community clubs and organizations to deliver high-quality projects that support young people's development. They will also lead the implementation of the Premier League Charitable Fund's equality, diversity, and inclusion strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the distribution of Core Funding to community clubs and organizations
  • Lead the development of the Premier League Charitable Fund's EDI strategy
  • Work closely with community clubs and organizations to deliver high-quality projects
  • Support the Head of Community and Workforce Development to service the EDI Committee
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience in project management and grant-making processes
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion and understanding of its importance in the charity sector
  • Knowledge of the sport, community, and charity sectors
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and 25 days annual leave. We also offer flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
