Job Title: Principal UX Designer

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Principal UX Designer to join our Prime Video team. As a key member of our Growth Design team, you will be responsible for defining and articulating the future vision for Prime Video's customer experience.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong understanding of design principles, customer behavior, and business objectives. You will work closely with product and business partners to develop a shared vision and lead a process to define and design experiences that deliver on those shared objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors to inform design decisions.
  2. Lead design projects from strategy through execution, ensuring that designs meet business objectives and customer needs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design systems and visual languages.
  4. Analyze customer problems and develop solutions that meet measurable business goals.
  5. Present design work to partners and executive leadership for review, feedback, and sign-off.
  6. Measure the success and effectiveness of UX innovations.

Requirements

10+ years of design experience, with a proven track record of leading design projects from strategy through execution. Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CS. Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data. An available online portfolio is a plus.
