Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large and diverse secondary school in Middlesbrough. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support to students with complex learning needs
  • Assist with differentiated learning activities and small-group/1:1 interventions
  • Work closely with experienced SEN professionals to deliver tailored learning strategies
  • Support the creation of a positive and inclusive environment where students can thrive

Requirements:

  • Hold a 2:1 or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field
  • Be passionate about inclusive education and motivated to support students with SEN
  • Be organised, compassionate, and resilient with excellent communication skills
