Job Role:

As a Literacy Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the next phase of the school's literacy development plan. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee a programme of reading intervention - primarily phonics and fluency - which will respond to, and nurture, the reading needs of all students identified as requiring individual support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a reading intervention programme that meets the needs of all students.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to identify students who require individual support.
  • Provide targeted support to students to improve their reading skills.
