Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading on new design and build projects working within a Magento 2 environment, encompassing both frontend and backend development. This includes implementing custom modules, optimising code for performance and scalability, and ensuring compatibility for robust frontend and backend operations. Additionally, they will work closely with the IT Director and Head of eCommerce to deliver scalable and effective Magento 2 platforms in a full stack and testing capacity.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess extensive Magento 2 experience, enabling them to lead projects and drive business values on delivering quality code with a strong focus on meeting customer requirements. Key skills include:
• Extensive knowledge of Magento development and customisation
• Ability to implement custom modules and optimise code for performance and scalability
• Frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including modern frameworks
• Backend development using MySQL and API integration
• Performance optimisation and implementation of Magento best practices

Salary and Benefits
The company offers a competitive package, including a base salary of £55k, individual bonus, 23 days holiday (plus 8 public), 4% employer pension contributions, great team culture, training and wellbeing programme, and 3 days working from home.
