About the Opportunity: We are offering a competitive salary up to £50k, including participation in the company's share options scheme and generous 35 days of annual leave. As a member of the team, you will be working on impactful projects that make a real difference in the world. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS to support the distribution of financial aid.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS that support the distribution of financial aid.
  • Optimize and manage databases to ensure performance and reliability in critical applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable Python code, tailored for serverless environments.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS SAM or Terraform to automate and streamline deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and execute projects efficiently.


Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 1-3+ years of hands-on experience in Python development. Strong expertise in relational databases such as RDS, Aurora, or PostgreSQL is also required.
