AWE Plc is recruiting for a Cost Estimator Specialist to support a key programme responsible for re-kitting, refurbishment or new build of facility services, plant and equipment related to production, engineering, and science facilities.

This role assesses all costs relating to Bills of Quantities, Schedules of Rates and Activity Schedules on complex projects, from initial calculations to final figures. The successful candidate will develop contract cost models ensuring these comply with project briefs, timescales, budget estimates, contractual requirements, legislation, and regulations.

The role involves measuring, validating, recommending, and authorising monthly valuations/payments, capturing, and recording cost data. Applicants with experience supporting project teams in developing project procurement strategies and tender documentation will be at an advantage.
