Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to a child with an EHCP, while also taking on a Midday Supervisor role.

About the Role

  • Provide one-to-one support for a child with an EHCP, helping with their academic, emotional, and physical needs
  • Support the teacher in preparing and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Assist in developing and monitoring personalised learning plans and education goals
  • Deliver interventions and activities that promote safe and effective learning behaviours
  • Supervise children during midday breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Have experience working with children with SEND or a strong interest in developing these skills
  • Hold a Level 2/3 NVQ Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Be competent with IT for record-keeping and communication tasks
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
