Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for carrying out consultations, working up cases, performing general surgery, and basic imaging. You will also have the opportunity to visit our animal charity partner and contribute to their welfare.
About the RoleThis full-time position offers a competitive salary of approximately £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing excellent patient care and a commitment to continuous professional development. In return, we offer a rewarding work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out consultations with clients and patients
- Work up cases and develop treatment plans
- Perform general surgery and basic imaging procedures
- Visit our animal charity partner and contribute to their welfare
- An interesting and diverse caseload with exotic patients
- A good work-life balance with 4-5 day weeks and some shared Saturday and bank holiday work
- No OOH work after 7pm
- Five weeks' annual leave + your birthday off
- RCVS fees and VDS cover paid
- UK sponsorship available
- Cycle-to-work scheme and discounted veterinary fees
- Free on-site parking
- DVPM or equivalent qualifications
- Full UK driving licence covered by business insurance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
